We define a Dry gin is a gin that is characterized by its lack of sweetness. It is made by distilling a neutral spirit with botanicals, which include juniper berries, coriander, angelica root, citrus peels, and other herbs and spices. Unlike some other types of gin, we believe that our dry Gin, is meant to have a crisp, clean flavour profile that allows the botanicals to shine through, and is unsweetened.

The term “dry” in dry gin refers to the lack of sweetness, not the absence of moisture. In fact, dry gin ( depending on the batch and the freshness of the botanicals ) is made with varying levels of alcohol content, ranging from around 45% to 55% ABV. This particular batch is 43% ABV

Classic Bay Gin is a “London dry gin style”, and being a Dry gin it is a versatile spirit that can be enjoyed on its own or mixed into a variety of cocktails. Some classic cocktails that use dry gin as a base include the Martini, the Negroni, and the Gimlet.
